Chase is getting so big. He's a solid 14 lbs. He is so happy and sweet. Anyway, just thought y'all should know we are alive and well.

This week

We have just been learning about water safety around here. Just kidding- Evan found this stuff. The one of Chase is just to show how big he is. He's almost 2 months old! I am clearly a poor photographer.

WOW

Here's what I have been up to night and day for the past 7 weeks. If we have treats in the house (which we often do) they will be gone by morning! Hopefully Chase will sleep through the night soon for my health's sake.

It has changed my life!!

These are the best things ever!! I don't like to use them t keep Evan from a dangerous situation- just to keep him in his room while he is supposed to be sleeping. The battle is over and I won. I only purchased them about 3 hours ago, but I am already so happy.

Evan Guy

We can't forget about Evan. It's funny- with 2 kids (1 being a newborn) I pretty much feel like 1 is being neglected at all times. Evan was used to getting all my attention and now he has to totally share it, which he seems completely fine with. It's me who is needing some adjusting. Evan is pictured here with some of his favorite things- his blanket (all time favorite thing). He also loves balls and pushing things around on the floor. This cute little trash can is a huge improvement to the loud chairs.

Growing by the minute

These pictures are not that good, but here they are. The little guy is already up to like 9 pounds - could be more now. He seems to be getting big so quicky. He is 1 month old today.

1st Flight Lesson

Aaron got to go flying on his birthday. I surprised him, and I am pretty sure that I had more fun with the whole thing than he did. Oh well. Check out that little plane. Once I saw what he was going up in I was really happy with my decision to stay on the ground!

Here is what Chase might have looked like had he been born on his due date. What a cutie!

Yes- he is being taken care of

What a raggamuffin!! I just love that bottom picture- crazy hair, funny face. How could you not love waking up to that (or in my case continuing to be up)? I felt like he was looking a bit neglected so he got his first paid for haircut. It was pretty fun. He looked so cute sitting in the chair with his cape on and eating a sucker. MMMM a sucker with newly cut hair falling on it. Well having two kids is kind of crazy, but we are adjusting. We even went to the store today. YEA!!!

That picture isn't all that clear or good, but I love Evan's little face in it. AHHHH I now live with 3 boys. My future holds a big messy, stinky house it looks like.

SWEET!!

Evan is seriously so sweet with little Chase. . . .usually. Today- not so much, but I am going to believe that is because he was not feeling well. Note: this picture was not staged. He actually started feeding him all on his own and everything.

I'm scared!!

Chase is here!!! Evan has just been so dang sweet with him. He wants to share with him and help take care of him. I am so glad that Mom is here. Evan just absolutely loves to be with her and she has already been such a big help. I am just scared for the day she leaves. Chase has been a sweet little guy himself for his first 36 hours. Well I will post more soon.
