Madison is a big helper!

Carin and fam came over on Sunday and when we were out for a walk Madison just started pushing Evan in his stroller. She kept it up for a long time too. It was pretty dang cute.

It changed my life

I used to be sad, unmotivated and lack energy. I never wanted to go out - I was ashamed to be in public.

That was until I got my new haircut. I feel like a whole new person. Thank you Lisa!!

When in Florida. . .

We were lucky enough to come across a shuttleboard area that had equipment available for our use. We asked the elderly couple nearby how to score and we were ready to go. As this is a family blog I will not go into detail about how I creamed him even though I was holding Evan. That sort of thing just isn't needed. :)

Let's hit the pool

I love this picture. He just looks as happy as can be. We're off to the pool!

The lone swimmer

Aaron was the only one I saw swimming in the ocean the whole time. It was cold, but he braved the frigid temps and had fun. Aaron goes few places without his wet suit and snorkel!

The Beach

Here we are at the beach. I had never been to Florida so it was great to see a new place. We walked along the beach a few times a day. That's just how Aaron got to his class. I put Evan's feet in the water once and he lifted them right up and started crying a little. Sure it was cold, but he had to get them in there one time. Grandma's orders.

The Suite Life of Evan

Here Evan is just hangin out at the hotel. Vacation life really suited him. He spent his days swimming, napping, walking on the beach, going for ice cream. . . . . . Every 7 month old's dream if you ask me. I had so much fun with Evan. He really loved the pool so that was especially fun for me.

The latest. . .

Evan sure is getting good at stacking.

Yee-ha

We want Evan to have a normal childhood here in Texas and fit in with the other kids so we bought him a rocking horse to get him started out right. Just kidding I popped into Walgreens of all places just to waste some time before I had to be somewhere and da dada da. . . there it was calling my name. Yeah it can actually call my name and it still only cost $15. I love it, and clearly so does Evan!
